The Indian Railways has announced the launch of four new ‘Amrit Bharat Express’ trains, which will provide better travel facilities at a low fare. It is to be reported that these trains will increase the connectivity of Bihar as they will be commencing from different cities of the state.
According to the reports, the new trains will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The details of the train are as follows -
The following are the four routes on which the ‘Amrit Bharat Express’ train will run -
Patna to New Delhi
Bapudham Motihari to Anand Vihar, New Delhi
Darbhanga to Gomti Nagar, Lucknow
Malda Town to Gomti Nagar, Lucknow
While emphasizing the inauguration of the first-ever train, the Executive Director, Information and Publicity, Ministry of Indian Railways - Dilip Kumar, mentioned that the first train will run between Rajendra Nagar Terminal, Patna, and New Delhi. The inauguration has been scheduled on Friday, July 18, 2025.
The first-ever journey will be conducted by Train No. 03261, which will run between Rajendra Nagar and New Delhi. The journey will commence on July 18, 2025, at 11:45 am and will reach New Delhi by 4:00 am the next day. During the journey, the train will stop at Patna, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Subedarganj, Govindpuri, and Ghaziabad.
The departure train will be Train No. 03262, which will run between New Delhi and Rajendra Nagar on July 19, 2025. The train will depart from New Delhi at 6:00 pm and will arrive at Rajendra Nagar at 11:45 am the next day.
Regular service from July 31, 2025 (Thursday) -
Train No. 22361 (Rajendra Nagar to New Delhi): The train will run daily, the journey will leave from Rajendra Nagar at 7:45 pm and is expected to reach New Delhi at 1:10 pm.
Train No. 22362 (New Delhi to Rajendra Nagar): The train will return on August 1, 2025. This train will depart from New Delhi daily at 7:10 pm and reach Rajendra Nagar at 11:45 am the next day.
