Sajjan Kumar, former Member of Parliament and senior Congress leader, has died, hospital sources said on Thursday.
Kumar was brought to Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital, where he was declared brought dead, according to hospital sources.
Sajjan Kumar was a former Lok Sabha MP and a leader of the Indian National Congress and had been lodged in Tihar Jail, serving multiple concurrent life sentences in the riots case.
