In a recent development, the police have arrested the suspects involved in the recent gang war incident at AS College in Khanna. The operation led to a shootout between the CIA Khanna and the accused near the Gaddi Canal Bridge. During the encounter, one suspect sustained a gunshot wound to his leg and has been admitted to the Civil Hospital in Samrala.
According to SSP Khanna, Amneet Kaundal, the accused Krishna Sahni and Jatin Monga, both residents of Ludhiana, were on a bike and attempted to evade police at a checkpoint set up near the Gaddi Bridge. Upon spotting the police, they tried to escape through the fields. When pursued by the police, the suspects fired at them. In return fire, Krishna Sahni was hit. Both suspects have been apprehended.
