Breaking News: Punjab Government’s Big Action in Majitha Spurious Liquor Racket – Mastermind Arrested

In a major crackdown, the Punjab government has arrested Prabhjeet Singh, the alleged mastermind behind the spurious liquor racket that led to multiple deaths in Majitha.

An FIR (No. 42 dated 13/5/25) has been registered under Section 105 BNS and 61A of the Excise Act, confirmed by Amritsar Rural SSP.

Arrested:

• Kulbir Singh alias Jaggu (Prabhjeet’s brother)
• Sahib Singh alias Sarai (Maradi Kalan)
• Gurjant Singh
• Ninder Kaur (Thirenwal)

The investigation into the entire network is ongoing. The AAP-led Punjab government has warned that liquor mafias will face strict punishment.
