In a major development, Indian Railways has announced disruptions of at least 26 train services in India especially trains from Chhattisgarh.
As per Navbharat Times report, 26 trains have been cancelled in the month of August, out of which four are passenger trains.
As per reports, trains have been cancelled for non-interconnectivity at Kirodimal Nagar station of Bilaspur Railway Division and electrification of third and fourth railway lines in Raigarh-Jharsuguda section.
22 Express Trains and four passenger trains passing on different days from 24 August to 26 August will be cancelled. The list of cancelled trains has been released so that passengers do not face difficulties.

Train number 68737 Raigarh-Bilaspur MEMU leaving from Raigarh from 24th to 27th August, 2025 will remain cancelled.
68738 Bilaspur-Raigarh MEMU leaving from Bilaspur from 24th to 27th August, 2025 will remain cancelled.
Train number 68735 Raigarh-Bilaspur MEMU leaving from Raigarh from 24th to 27th August, 2025 will remain cancelled.
68736 Bilaspur-Raigarh MEMU running from Bilaspur will remain cancelled from 23 to 26 August, 2025.
Apart from this, the Railways has informed that during this period two trains will be operated on diverted route.
At the same time, three trains will be terminated midway. Officials said that Nizamuddin-Raigarh Godwana Express will terminate at Bilaspur only, this train will remain cancelled between Bilaspur and Raigarh.
