The dates for the upcoming assembly elections have been revealed. On February 10, the first phase of polling in five states will take place. In order to protect voters, the electoral commission has implemented a new covid protocol at voting stations. so that ordinary people can vote in the middle of the evening safely.

In order to vote, you must be included on the voter list

You must be registered to vote. Apart from voter identification cards, the electoral commission has added 11 papers as identity cards. If your name is included in the list, you can vote without a voter card by presenting other documents such as an Aadhaar card, a pan card, or a driver's license.

  3. Passport Size Photograph with Passbook (Bank Statement)
  4. Health Insurance Card
  5. Driving License
  6. PAN Card
  7. Smart Card (Issued by NPR)
  8. Pension Card (With Self Attested photograph)
  9. Indian Passport
  10. Swiss Card with Photograph (Central, State, PSUs or Public Ltd. Company’s employee)
  11. Authoritarian Identification letter

If fever rises in thermal screening, will you be able to vote?

Yes, you can vote while conducting thermal screening at the voting center if you have a temperature.
