On Thursday, the Police booked a 17-year-old boy for threatening and blackmailing a minor. The accused threatened the minor to pay 16 lakh rupees otherwise he would leak her nude photos and videos, which were developed by him on social media. According to the sources it was reported that the boy kept demanding money from the teenager.
The boy and the minor were neighbours in Bamniya village in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and the boy knew that the girl’s father had sold off an ancestral property and would be able to give him money. He was also aware that the money was kept in the house itself, so he decided to blackmail the girl so that she may be obliged to come into his trap and hand over all the money to him.

Fearing the leaking of her pictures the girl had already given Rs. 16 lakh to the accused. On the demand of wanting more money, the girl had to steal more money. After the girl's parents became suspicious of her actions and wanted to know who was committing the crime.
So they removed the rest of the money and kept 2 lakhs in the locker and later saw their daughter taking away 1 lakh from the locker, after finding this out the daughter narrated the whole event to her father.

She even told about handing over Rs 16 lakh to the accuser, after this, the police were informed and a case was registered.
The police caught the accused on Friday.
Cases like these are becoming more and more common and people should keep an eye on what is happening. Minors are being caught up. Recently, a schoolboy had raped a two and a half-year-old girl in Himachal Pradesh, the boy used to take the girl away saying that they were going to play but he sexually assaulted her. The girl was crying and hearing that the mother came, till then the boy had already run away, after knowing what happened in the field, the mother filed a case and the minor boy was arrested.
