Girl aged 18 year was gang raped in Ludhiana by three on Sunday evening. She was intoxicated and then raped by them. Two out of three are caught named Gurinder Singh and Yadwinder Singh ; one is identified as minor aged 16 and is yet not caught.
Her mother , 40 year old women, a labourer, said that on Sunday around 4:30pm , she along with her daughter went to the fields to fetch fodder for the cattle. After collecting a bundle, the mother left for home and asked her daughter to collect more. On coming back, she witnessed her daughter lying unconsciously in the fields.

She called her husband after seeing her daughter in such a plight and took her to government hospital.
The daughter after regaining conscious on the next day narrated the entire incident; saying that she was alone in the fields and three boys came. One of them forcibly held her arms and another made her drink intoxicant and gang raped her after which she lost her conscious. She was further referred to Civil Hospital, Ludhiana.
The sources said that two boys out of three are brothers and one of them is aged 16.

Police has registered a case under sections 376D (gang rape) and 328 (causing hurt by means of poison, etc with an intent to commit an offence) under Indian Penal Code. DSP Manavjit Singh is looking into the case.
