2020 Tokyo Olympics Pool A: Indian hockey team makes another win, defeats japan

Japan’s Kenta Tanaka made a move because of the lack of defense made a shot making the score as 2-1 past Sreejesh in halftime.

On Friday, the match between India and Japan Men’s Hockey teams lead to the defeat of Japan with the victory of 5-3, the match was of Pool A and was held in Tokyo Olympics at the North pitch of the Oi Hockey Stadium.

After the conversion of a penalty corner by Harmanpreet Singh, the Indian team took the upper hand in the 13th minute, hence leading to 1-0 as the score. In the campaign, it is the fourth goal shot by Harmanpreet. In the second quarter, just after 2 minutes, Simranjeet went into the Japanese circle, passed the ball to Gurjant, who made another goal.

In the fifth quarter, Gurjant as well as Nilakanta, made 2 more goals, leveling up to the second position after Australia. When it was the end of the match, Murata scored for Japan, and the conclusion of the match lead the Indian team to succeed.
