Doctor Parag Shah, a member of society in Ahmedabad, has filed a complaint against Payal Rohatgi at the Satellite police station. According to his complaint, the actress hurled abuses at the society's chairperson on social media and used derogatory language in the society's WhatsApp group.

Payal Rohatgi allegedly threatened to break the leg of anyone who disagreed with her and got into a verbal spat over a common plot used as a playing area, according to him. She was later arrested by Ahmedabad police; and medical tests, including coronavirus testing, have already begun. The actress is accused of arguing with members of her society and threatening the chairperson.
She had previously slammed senior star-MP Jaya Bachchan for her Rajya Sabha speech, alleging a continuous attempt to defame Bollywood.
Last year, her Twitter account was suspended twice for posting offensive remarks. After the tragic death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput on June 1, 2020, she aggressively blogged on the nepotism topic in Bollywood and slammed various Bollywood A-listers.
Sangram Singh, a wrestler, and Payal Rohatgi have been together since 2011. In the year 2000, she began her career as a contestant in the Femina Miss India pageant. She was crowned Miss Tourism World Supermodel. Her film credits include '36 China Town,' 'Ugly Aur Pagli,' and 'Dil Kabaddi.' She also had an appearance in a dancing sequence in the film 'Corporate.'
Payal has also appeared in television shows such as 'Bigg Boss 2' and 'Nach Baliye 7'.
