Acute shortage of medical oxygen at Delhi's GTB hospital, Health Minister Jain seeks help from Piyush Goyal

Amid the sudden spurt in the coronavirus cases, Delhi is currently facing an acute shortage of medical oxygen at several hospitals. The report has just come from Delhi's GTB hospital where oxygen supply is just left for not more than 500 Covid-19 critical patients which may not last more than four hours. 

Owing to the grave situation, Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain has urged Union Minister Piyush Goyal to expedite the supply of medical oxygen at the earliest to save the life of patients. 

The state health minister to the micro-blogging site to ask for help from Piyush Goyal and informed him that the oxygen may not last for over four hours. He added presently more than 500 infected patients are on oxygen support are admitted to the hospital.

Mr. Jain has tagged the Union minister and wrote, "Acute shortage of oxygen at GTB Hospital. Oxygen may not last beyond 4 hrs. More than 500 corona patients on oxygen. Pls help @PiyushGoyal to restore oxygen supply  to avert major crisis."

He also attached two screenshots of messages, which were sent to him by an official at GTB Hospital seeking urgent help.
