It's worth noting that all of the National Sports Awards 2020 winners have already received their cash prizes, but were unable to collect their medals and citations during last year's event, which was held virtually because to the COVID-19 epidemic. Team India's speedster Ishant Sharma, among other athletes, took to Twitter to show his thanks to the Union Sports Minister receiving the prestigious Arjuna Award. Ishan Sharma expressed his gratitude and honour at receiving the medal, as well as congratulating other sportsmen who had won the renowned trophy.
