Anushka Sharma Shares Hubby Virat Kohli's Led Indian Team’s Winning Moments As They Beat England by 151 runs

Anushka Sharma congratulated India on their victory over England. On Monday, the Indian cricket team defeated the hosts in the second test match.

Anushka Sharma was overjoyed when India defeated England in the recent cricket series on Monday. The Indian cricket team is presently in England for a five-match test series against England. Anushka revealed her response to the win on Instagram Stories, where she posted a photo of her husband, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, rejoicing.

"What a win! What a team!"  Prior to the post, the actor uploaded a photo of her television screen, which showed Virat and his team celebrating their triumph on the field. "Yessss!!!" she wrote beside a raised hand, the Indian flag, and a blue heart emoji.

Anushka had already stated that she will be watching the game indoors earlier in the evening. The actor captioned a photo of the match in progress, "Too interesting," with an emoji of a cricket ball and bat, as well as an Indian flag.

India won the second Test by 151 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match series. India set a target of 272 runs for England, but the hosts were bowled out for 120 runs.


Anushka is presently in England, where she will be accompanied by Virat Kohli and the Indian cricket team for the series. In June, when India met New Zealand in the World Test Championship Final, the star visited the nation with her daughter Vamika.

Virat and Anushka went on a countryside tour with a few other members of the Indian squad and their partners before the test series began. During their vacation, Anushka bonded with Athiya Shetty, who is rumoured to be dating Indian cricketer KL Rahul.

Up one of their trips, Athiya took on the role of photographer for Anushka. Anushka also posted a photo of the Durham group on Instagram a few weeks ago with the comment "Dur'hum' saath saath hai." Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Athiya Sharma, KL Rahul, Umesh Yadav, and Ishant Sharma were seen with their spouses, Tanya Wadhwa and Pratima Singh, respectively.
