For the unversed, Apple Event 2023 is the American company's annual event and it is expected that the company's new flagship phone iPhone 15 will be launched. As per reports, the Apple 2023 event will be taking place on September 12 at the Apple Park in California, US. Apple's Wanderlust Event 2023 will be both in-person and live-streamed on the official YouTube channel of Apple. It is pertinent to mention here that the Apple 2023 Event is expected to be a major one as the iPhone 15 for the first time is expected to induce a Type C charging replacing the lightning cable. Not only this, but iOS 17, Apple Watch, and other products are also expected to be unveiled in the 2023 Wanderlust Event. The Apple Event 2023 will begin at 1 pm ET or 10 am PT, which is 10:30 pm IST.
What to expect from Apply Event 2023?
Along with the Type C Charing slot, Apple might announce the release dates for iOS 17 and watchOS 10 during its upcoming event. Although reports claim that the USB-C port will be available on all iPhone 15 models, Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo was quoted by IANS saying that only the Pro and Pro Max will benefit from faster data transfer rates. Both premium models will have "at least" USB 3.2 or Thunderbolt 3 ports, while the base iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will have USB 2.0 ports. Reports further suggest that some Apple iPhone 15 models are likely to support charging up to 35W which will offer faster charging speeds.
Apple's iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are rumored to feature a titanium frame, slimmer bezels, and a more easily repairable aluminium chassis, similar to the iPhone 14. Furthermore, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max might also have a faster A17 chip built using the 3nm process, whereas the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will most likely include the A16 chip included in the iPhone 14 Pro. In addition to the iPhone 15, Apple is expected to unveil its latest smartwatch lineup -- with few major changes so far. The premium Apple Watch Ultra will reportedly retain its 49mm size and come with a new darker titanium case. But as per rumours the Watch Series 9 will come with an updated S9 processor, the report mentioned.
It is pertinent to mention here that Apple 14's price is expected to be lowered especially when festivals are knocking on the doors in India. Also, it is observed that after the launch of Apple's flagship phone, its previous phones go through price cuts.
