The Serbian legend Novak Djokovic has scripted history making the world bow ahead of him yet another time in the iconic Rod Laver Arena to win the record 10th Australian Open title outclassing the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in straight sets 6-3,7-6, 7-6 (7-5).

With this Novak now matches his long-time rival, another great of the game Rafael Nadal with 22 career Grand Slams, winning all four majors multiple times. Moreover, the Serb has bettered his own record and has never lost a final every time he has played in Melbourne.

The Greek played his heart out to save the game in the third set in a bid to earn his first Grand Slam title taking it deep to 7-5, however, Djokovic was good enough to maintain his ultimate dominance in his den, ‘The Rod Laver Arena’.

The Serbian star remained purely dominant in the entire course of the game winning the first decently against the Greek 6-3. In the second set, Tsitsipas put in a better show to match him up taking the game to the tie-breaker, where the Serbian prevailed again.
