The counting of votes in overall India started at 8 am. After 3 hours passing by, the data that has come forward shows that ‘Modi Magic’ is likely to fail this Lok Sabha Elections. It seems like all the predictions made by various Exit Polls are likely to be proved wrong. Bharatiya Janta Party is lagging far behind the majority numbers i.e. 273 in the country. As per the data released by the Election Commission of India, the BJP is leading on 234 seats out of a total 543 seats. Various states have given a big shock to BJP including Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar and Maharashtra.

Last elections, BJP won 64 seats in UP and this time the party gave a target of winning 80 seats. However, in the Lok Sabha Election 2024, Samajwadi Party is leading ahead of BJP. Various famous leaders of BJP like Smriti Irani are also lagging behind from her constituency.

Bihar along with Maharashtra have also come as shoch to BJP. In Haryana also, BJP has suffered a loss of 7 seats.
