Following a raid on a high profile party on a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai by the Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB, at least 10 people have been detained, sources said. As per reports, the agency has recovered banned substances like cocaine, ganja, MD and other intoxicants from the cruise ship on Saturday.

Covert as passengers, the NCB team boarded the ship after they were tipped, sources said.

The ship raided was named ‘Cordelia the Impress' and the operation lasted for several hours.

Those arrested have been brought back to Mumbai on Sunday, the agency team said, adding that the party began after the ship left from Mumbai and when it was at sea.

The NCB zonal director, Sameer Wankhede told the media that so far no arrests have been made in the case.
