T20 World Cup 2021: Can India bounce back & win this VIRTUAL QUALIFIER against New Zealand?

T20 World Cup: India's previous victory over New Zealand in an ICC competition was in 2003. Following that, India faced the Kiwis, but had not won a game in 18 years.

On Sunday, India and New Zealand will play in the ICC T20 World Cup. Both squads have lost their previous matches and will be focused on winning this clash at the Dubai International Stadium.

As this is the virtual qualifier match, team India has lost its first match in this competition and must now win this match in order to advance to the semi-finals. The Indian squad has yet to defeat New Zealand in any ICC competition since the 2003 World Cup. India was eliminated from the T20 World Cup in 2007 after losing to New Zealand. The Indian squad was then eliminated from the 2016 T20 World Cup. Apart from that, a match between the two countries in the ODI World Cup in 2019 remained inconclusive, while India was beaten by 18 runs in the same ODI World Cup semi-finals.
