
India’s oldest Dayanand Ayurvedic College based in Jalandharhere on Sunday organised Ayush Immunity Kadha distribution camp at village Mokhehere.
The institution has produced more than 10 thousand AyurvedicDoctors who are serving the ailing humanity in India and Abroad.
Principal, Dr Sanjeev Sood told that Dayanand Ayurvedic College has adopted 5villages of Jalandhar to provide them free medical facilities and awarenessabout various diseases.
In this context, to prevent third wave of corona in future,college organized the awareness camp and free medical camp for distribution ofAYUSH immunity Kada, he said.
Camp co-ordinator Dr. Gagan Thakur told that 750 packets ofAYUSH immunity Kada prepared by DAV Pharmacy, Mahatama Hans Raj Marg, Opp.Burlton Park, G.T. Road, Jalandhar (Pb.) were distributed among the villagesfree of cost.
Public were told about the process of preparing kada at theirhome. Villagers were aware to improve their immunity by using various herbslike Tulsi, Haldi, Dalchini, Amala, Ashwangandha etc. They were adviced toremain away from crowd, wearing mask and frequent hand wash.
During this occasion AMO Dr. Hemant Malhotra (PHC Randhawa Masanda), CHO Ms.Preeti were also present along with their staff. College students Janak,Amritpal Singh, Vibhore and Abhishek Pandey also gave their services in thecamp.
In the end Sarpanch Smt. Asha Rani w/o Mr. Surinder Kumar and other heads ofvillage sthanked Principal Dayanand Ayurvedic College Dr. Sanjeev Sood andstaff who organized this free medical camp.
