Two men were today found dead at an under construction building located here at Greater Kailash colony, near Maqsudan. The deceased were identified as Komal and Ramswaroop, both daily wage labourers.
As per information, the victims were working as construction labourers at the site. At around 10:30 on Tuesday Morning, the cops at police division number one received the information about the incident that two unknown bodies have been discovered at a construction site.
On receiving the details, the police party immediately reached the spot to investigate the matter.
Inspector Rajesh Kumar, SHO at Police Division Number 1, said, "Prima facie, it was established that the deceased have been murdered. Their bodies were surrounded by a pool of blood when they were first spotted. They have deep cuts and injuries on their heads. Stones with blood stains were also recovered from the spot, which indicates that they were brutally murdered”, he said.
The bodies of both the labourers have been sent to the Civil Hospital for the post mortem, the police said, adding that the further details could only be shared once the autopsy reports are available.
A case under section 302 of IPC has been registered against an unknown person at the Police Division Number One.
