'Dybbuk-The Curse Is Real' teaser: Emraan Hashmi, Nikita Dutta horror promises spine-chilling thriller

Teaser for Emraan Hashmi's film  Dybbuk is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam horror film Ezra, in which Prithviraj Sukumaran played the lead.

Emraan Hashmi, who has been in a number of horror films, is back with another terrifying story. Emraan will next be seen in Dybbuk - The Curse is Real, an upcoming horror thriller on Amazon Prime Video. The Hindi remake of the Malayalam horror film Ezra stars Manav Kaul and Nikita Dutta, which starred Prithiviraj Sukumaran in the major role.

On Monday, the Dybbuk teaser was released by the makers. Nikita tries to open a box in the teaser, and as soon as she does, a sequence of horrific events unfold.

While sharing the video, Emraan wrote, "A mysterious box, an ancient key. If you open this #Dybbuk do you know what will be set free? Watch #DybbukOnPrime, Oct 29. @primevideoin"

While the trailer does not reveal much about the storyline, horror fans will get a horror treat.


Emraan Hashmi, speaking about the film, remarked that horror is a genre with a lot of potential.


"A well-made horror picture will always bring large crowds to movie theatres." With Ezra, we aim to push the envelope even farther and provide an unforgettable experience for the audience. "I am thrilled to be working with Kumarji and Abhishek on this project, and with Jay Krishnan at the helm, all I can say is brace yourselves for one terrifying ride," the actor said in a statement.


Meanwhile, Jay K. is the writer and director of the film Dybbuk- The Curse Is Real. Clinton Cerejo composed the music for this official adaptation of the 2017 Malayalam film 'Ezra.' Panorama Studios and T-Series worked on the film.


In the Diwali week, Emraan Hashmi's horror flick Dybbuk is likely to clash on digital with Meenakshi Sundareshwar's Hum Do Hamare Do.
On October 29, the film will be available on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
