The post of Deputy Chief Minister in Bihar has been given to Bihar BJP leader and newly elected MLA from Katihar Tarkishore Prasad and Bettiah MLA Renu Devi. The surprising decision by the NDA and BJP high command, shocked and raised curiosity among the people of Bihar to know more about the newly-elected Deputy Chief Ministers of Bihar.
BJP leader Tarkishore Prasad is 64 years old. According to the information he has shared during the Bihar Legislative Assembly elections, he has studied till 10+2. Tarkishore Prasad's wife's name is Renu Prasad. Tarkishore passed intermediate in 1974 from DS College, Katihar. He has been a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) affiliated to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Before joining the BJP, he held several positions in the organization.
On the other hand, if we talk about the political journey, he has become MLA for the fourth time. Tarkishore Prasad has been active in politics and social work since the 1980s. First became MLA from Katihar in February 2005.
Just like Tarkishore, Bettiah MLA Renu Devi has also been elected MLA for the fourth time. Also, when it comes to education, they are intermediate. Renu Devi made her Inter Pass from Muzaffarpur University in 1977. Renu Devi has been active in political and social work since the year 1988. His mother was associated with the Sangh Parivar.

Talking about personal life, 62-year-old Renu Devi's husband Durga Prasad has died. Renu has a son and daughter in the family besides her. In political life, she has also been the state's Sports, Arts and Culture Minister in Bihar from 2005 to 2009. In the organization, Renu Devi has been the President of Mahila Morcha, in-charge of Mahila Morcha in three states, from National Working Committee member to National Chairman of Amit Shah on National Committee.
