Estacada Wildfire: 'Level 3' evacuation ordered as Oregon city grips under massive fire break, region's second since 2020

A Level 3 evacuation has been issued for Milo Mclver State Park and the surrounding area after a massive wildfire ignited and spread near the park alongside the lower Clackamas River in the Estacada city of Oregon.

Fire crews are actively engaged in response to a brush fire at the park and areas surrounding. The Campers were made to leave the place by the officials along with others late Friday night.

Oregon Parks and Recreation Department director Lisa Sumption said they had successfully evacuated everyone from the park." Visitors are all out and safe and sound," she informed the media.

Pictures from the spot have gone viral showing the fire burning in the hillsides above Estacada.

Lisa in the briefing further added that "We had to evacuate people and our resident staff out the back of the park now, near the bat barn area as the entrance is burning."

A similar incident as reported by the local media took place at Riverside exactly around two years ago during Labor Day in 2020.
