The most awaited Manoj Bajpayee starrer Family Man is back with Season 2. The series features the story of Srikant Tiwari juggling between his duties as a family man and as the servant of
the country. The Family Man season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on June 4.
After a long wait of almost two years, Srikant Tiwari is back with a bigger challenge. Leading a middle-class life and balancing it with being a super spy, Srikant will stand against a new nemesis, Rajji who is a suicide bomber.
Another good news for fans is that the role of Rajji, the suicide bomber will be played by South star Samantha Akkineni.
The plotline of the show already gives chills to fans. Questions like Will Srikant be able to stop Rajji or will he be able to keep hiding his truth from his wife are already doing rounds in fan's mind. To their ease, all these questions will be answered once the show is out on June 4.
This season fans will be dazzled by not only Manoj Baypayee but Samantha playing Rajji. Bajpayee himself and the show makers are also fascinated by her performance.

In a recent interview, Manoj Bajpayee along with creators Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have talked about changes in characters. The makers of the show believe Samantha’s decision of playing the role of Rajji was very brave.
Manoj Bajpayee says, “The family has moved on, Srikant has moved on and he has new challenged on the work front and I am restlessly curious to know how people are going to receive Srikant in these new circumstances and how they will welcome this explosive character like Samantha’s.”
Talking about Rajji, DK said that it is a Tamil-speaking character and we had to find a Tamil-speaking actor. “We decided to go with Samantha, however, she has never done anything like this before.”
Samantha’s choice for the show is risky as she has a huge fan following who will follow every work project she does. “We are already getting a few comments like ‘What did you do to our beautiful Samantha?’ Someone like her doing this role is very risky but also very brave.
She said, “I am going to let go of all the things people look at in me, in my character and I will embrace a completely different, contrasting character and try and do my best with it.”
