Another former Indian cricket player tests positive for COVID-19

The former cricketer played with Sachin in the Road Safety world series

Yusuf Pathan announced on Twitter on Saturday (March 27) that he had tested positive for COVID-19. The news came the same day that legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar declared that virus tests had come back positive.

“I've tested positive for COVID-19 today with mild symptoms. Post the confirmation, I have quarantined myself at home and taking all the necessary precautions and medication required,”. Pathan, who was a member of Tendulkar's India Legends team in the Road Safety Series, wrote on Twitter.

This year's Road Safety World Series matches were held in Raipur, and India defeated Sri Lanka Legends in the final to claim the title last Sunday (March 21). Many other major names in Indian cricket, including the Pathan brothers, Yuvraj Singh, Virender Sehwag, and Sachin Tendulkar, took part in the enthralling tournament. Sachin Tendulkar, the God of Cricket, revealed on Saturday morning that he had tested positive after exhibiting mild symptoms.
