Gakhal Group Surjit Hockey League-2021 commences

Tracer Shoes, Tyka Sports,Milwaukee Wolves, California Eagle, Hans Raj & Sons, Alpha Hockeymaintained their dominance in their age groups in the first Gakhal Group SurjitHockey League-2021, started today here at Lyallpur Khalsa College AstroturfGround.

As many as 13 matches playedon the first day of the league. In the junior age group, Hans Raj & SonsKapurthala beat Toot Brothers USA 2-0 to clinch the full points while MilwaukeeValves (USA) and AGI Infra Jalandhar shared one point each in a goalless draw.In the next match of the day, Hans Raj & Sons defeated AGI Infra Jalandharby solitary goal whereas Milwaukee Wolves beat Tut Brothers by 2-0

Inthe sub junior group matches, Tracer Shoes defeated Pukhraj Health Care by 3-0while Flash Hockey defeated Shrey Sports by 3-1.

 
In the junior group, Rakshak-XI and JPGA Farmers shared onepoint each as the match ended in a draw. In a rigged match, Tyka Sportsdefeated JPGA Farmers by 2-1. Alpha Hockey beats California Eagle by 3-0California Eagle (USA) beats Royal Infra 3-1, Tyka Sports defeated Rakshak 3-1while Jonax Sports drew 1-1 with Royal Infra.

Earlier, Jalandhar (Central) MLA RajinderSingh Beri inaugurated the tournament. On this occasion Lakhwinder Pal SinghKhaira, Surinder Singh Bhapa, LR Nayyar, Natha Singh Gakhal, Jasbir SinghGakhal Nirmal Singh Gakhal, Renu Verma, Kulwant Heer, Commandant, Ranbir SinghTut, Ram Pratap and Daljit Singh were also present.
