GATE 2022: Registration process to end today, know details here

The registration process for the GATE 2022 would end today (September 24, 2021). Interested candidates may apply now on the official website – gate.iitkgp.ac.in, to avoid the last-minute hassle.

On Friday, the registration process for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 would be concluded, as per the official notification. However, candidates may apply for the test till October 1, 2021, with late registration fees. The late fees for the exam is Rs 500, that is, fees for reserved categories would increase to Rs 1,250 from Rs 750 and for the general category the fees would be Rs 2000. 

 The GATE 2022 would be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur and it is scheduled on February 5, 6, 12, and 13, 2022. 

As today is the last date of ‘free’ registration so, interested candidates may apply through the official website – gate.iitkgp.ac.in.

GATE 2022: How to apply?

The official notification informs, “A candidate appearing in ONE or TWO Papers should fill ONLY ONE application form.

In case of multiple applications, only one will be accepted and remaining applications will be rejected without any refund for the paid fee.”

Step 1: Visit the official website – gate.iitkgp.ac.in, then click on the link which read “Apply online for GATE 2022.”

Step 2: A login page would appear, enter all the required details like mobile number, name, etc.

Step 3: Click the ‘Submit’ button, you would be registered.

Step 4: Save the application form and fill in all the credentials and scan and attach all the required documents.

Step 5: Pay the applicable fees and save the application and take a printout for further reference.
