The decision of the government may become a new issue in the election year, the government will find it difficult to answer the questions

The Punjab government seems to have acquired a new problem. In the election year, the MLA has created a political issue by giving government jobs to sons. Government opponents have given air on this issue. The youth who are in search of employment can also start pointing fingers at this decision of the government. Its far-reaching effect can be seen in the state.

The government, however, can protect itself from data rigging. jobs provided to the youth, out of the total 15.08 lakh jobs provided, 58,709 have been given government jobs (including contractual) and 5.70 lakh placed in the private sector and 8.80 lakh have been facilitated to take up self-employment ventures.

Referring to employment generated under the MGNREGA scheme from April 1, 2017, to June 30 this year, 28.70 lakh households have been provided employment with 794.54 lakh man-days. Govt will be adding.

But these figures of the government hardly embraced the unemployed youth. Unemployed youth will argue a lot on this. Anti-government will try to capitalize on these arguments completely. Due to which the political environment of the state will change tremendously. Already the atmosphere in the state is not good for the government. Because some MLAs and ministers are unhappy with the working style of the CM.

The Congress had announced door-to-door employment during the 2017 assembly elections. After coming to power, the party started the exercise of eradicating unemployment by organizing employment camps. The government is still trying to provide employment. But such efforts of the government are not having any effect on the unemployed.

The economy of the country has been badly affected during the Corona period. Thousands have lost their jobs. No one can deny this. But the way the announcement has been made to give government jobs to the resourceful MLA sons. Many questions will arise from that. The question will also arise that how many government jobs did the needy unemployed get?

A senior Congress leader, on the condition of anonymity, admitted that the government should have avoided taking such a risk in an election year. While talking to True Scoop, this leader said that if the government had taken this risk while giving job to the brother of Lok Sabha MP Ravneet Singh Bittu, then there would not have been such a ruckus. As in an election year.

When asked whether this decision of the government can be seen by linking it with anti-incumbency? So the leader first tried to avoid the question. But after scraping more of the true scoop, admitted that this decision of the government will strengthen the anti-incumbency against the power in the state. Now how does the government get rid of this factor of anti-incumbency. It will be interesting to see this.
