India's 72nd Republic Day witnessed the law and order on a toss, courtesy of the farmer's tractor parade. While continuously slamming the government on the basis of their fundamental rights, farmers got a nod to conduct a peaceful tractor rally and enter Delhi and hold a parade. For that, Delhi Police had given a certain route to the farmers and the farmers too promised to abide by the rules and regulations.
However, as soon as the parade started, farmers started to thrash the barricades and entered unauthorized areas. This led to violence between the farmers and the Delhi Police, however, what anguished entire India when farmers forcefully reached the Red Fort and hoisted their own flag, instead of the Tricolour. Hoisting another flag at the Red Fort signifies that India is seized by other forces and that too on Republic day.
However, instead of slamming the violent elements, Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has blamed the Modi Government for the farmer's violence. He said that India witnessed this only because the Modi government did not retract the farm laws. The statement by Raut is ironic as his party gets the vote for its agenda on National Security and pro-Hindu.
Raut took to Twitter and wrote, "अगर सरकार चाहती तो आजकी हिंसा रोक सकती थी. दिल्लीमे जो चल रहा है ऊसका समर्थन कोई नही कर सकता. कोई भी हो लाल किल्ला और तिरंगेका अपमान सहेन नही करेंगे. लेकीन माहोल क्युं बिगड गया?सरकार किसान विरोधी कानून रद्द क्युं नही कर रही?क्या कोई अदृश्य हात राजनीति कर रहा है? जय हिंद ( If the government wanted, then today's violence could have been stopped. What is going on in Delhi, no one can support it. No one will bear red fort and tricolor insult. But why the atmosphere deteriorated? Why is the government not repealing the anti-farmer law? Is anyone doing unseen politics?)
In another Tweet, he wrote, "क्या सरकार इसी दिनका बेसब्रीसे इंतजार कर रही थी? सरकारने आखीरतक लाखो किसानों की बात नही सुनी. ये किस टाईप का लोकतंत्र हमारे देशमे पनप रहा है?ये लोकतंत्र नही भाई..कुछ और ही चल रहा है. जय हिंद (Was the government eagerly waiting for this day? The government did not listen to millions of farmers till the end. Which type of democracy is flourishing in our country?This is not democracy, brother ..Something else is going on. Jai Hind)
