During a press briefing, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said,” the India-born Delta variant is still evolving and mutating to emerge as the most dominant variant of Coronavirus found in different countries.”

The WHO chief suggested that the vaccine is an effective way to end this phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, he said, “I have already urged leaders across the world to ensure that by this time next year, 70 percent of all people in every country are vaccinated.”

Dr. Tedros added, "It's within the collective power of a few countries to step up and ensure that vaccines are shared, noting that over 3 billion doses of vaccine have already been distributed globally”

Hopefully, the dangerous phase passes away not only in India but in the whole world and more and more people get themselves vaccinated.
