The second match of the ODI series is going to get underway today. While England has had their captain Eoin Morgan injured and out of the tournament, India has Shreyas out injured with a shoulder injury. India would be looking to get the series done and dusted with by winning this match and take the series.

Both teams have been hit by key player injuries, with Buttler acknowledging that England will miss the experience and leadership of regular captain Eoin Morgan, who is out for the rest of the series after sustaining a hand injury in the first ODI on Tuesday.

In the absence of Morgan and Sam Billings, who suffered a broken collarbone while fielding in the first ODI, England handed Liam Livingstone his first cap and reassigned Dawid Malan from the replacements.

In another move, Mark Wood was rested in favor of Surrey's left-arm seamer Reece Topley, who is now playing in his first game of the tour. Topley will be appearing in his second One-Day International since 2016, coming back to the squad for the home series against Ireland last year.

India made one radical shift, recalling Rishabh Pant in place of the injured Shreyas Iyer, who is set to miss the entire IPL 2021 season.
