India vs Sri Lanka 1st ODI: India wins by seven wickets, leads with 1-0

India vs Sri Lanka three ODI series has begun on Sunday (July 18). The first match is organized in R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
Sri Lanka skipper Dasun Shanaka has won the toss and has elected to bat against team India. The inning has started with Sri Lanka openers Avishka Fernando and Minod Bhanuka. Bhanuka Rajapaksha would play his first 50-over match for Sri Lanka.
For India, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav would make their debut in ODI matches.
India has bagged the match by 7 wickets and Prithvi Shaw was awarded as “Player of the Match.”
Sri Lanka’s batting:
Till drinks, Sri Lanka was at 141/4 and C. Asalanka and D. Shanaka were on the field at 21 runs and 11 runs respectively.

Chamika Karunaratne remained not out at 43 runs in 35 balls.
