IRCTC introduces AskDisha 2.0 for voice-based train ticket booking and cancellation without password

IRCTC has recently introduced a new and simpler process with the help of its AI-powered virtual assistance: AskDisha 2.0. This chatbot has been designed to offer a seamless experience to the user. It will provide assistance in checking PNR status, booking or cancelling the ticket bookings. 

It is to be noted that to achieve the benefits of this chatbot you don’t have to remember or type your IRCTC password. 

Details of AskDisha 2.0 - 

The AskDisha version 2.0 is an intelligent integrated chat-based virtual assistant which IRCTC facilitated on the web site and the mobile application. 

The user can now communicate with the chatbot (text-based or speech-based) to achieve a proven, fast, and convenient experience. It uses Hindi, English and Hinglish to appeal to the larger user base. 

The AskDisha 2.0 is not similar to the traditional login systems because they require the user to send only the mobile number to log in instead of using their IRCTC password

This makes it even more easy on how to access it even when the user forgets to access his/her credentials.

The blue chatbot icon is on the lower-right corner of the main page. 

It opens AskDisha 2.0, when clicked. 

Type your questions in the chatbot window, or tap the microphone icon to speak your command in voice.

To cancel a ticket, you may say: Cancel my ticket or on the top of the chatbot window select: AI Ticket Booking. Log in with a mobile phone number. 

Enter OTP that was sent to your phone. 

After signing in, you will have a choice to cancel the ticket with voice command or click on the My Bookings option on the screen.
