Kangana Ranaut, an Indian actress, has been sharing stories on her Instagram account in support of Israel in its continuing conflict with Palestine. She then juxtaposed a tweet from a BJP MLA in Uttar Pradesh, who challenged former cricketer Irfan Pathan for sympathising with Palestinians while remaining silent on West Bengal violence that erupted following the TMC's victory in the state.

Irfan Pathan responded to Kangana's Instagram post by clarifying on Twitter that all of his tweets are either for humanity or for his countrymen. He slammed Kangana, reminding her of her suspension from Twitter for "spreading hatred." "All My tweets are either 4 humanity or countrymen, from a point of view of a guy who has represented India at d highest level. On d contrary counters I get from ppl like Kangna who’s account get dismissed by spreading hate n some other paid accounts are only about hate."

"If Irfan Pathan loves his country so much, what made him not put a single tweet on West Bengal violence?" wrote Kerakat MLA Dinesh Chuadhary on Wednesday. Kangana pasted a screenshot of his tweet alongside one of her Instagram posts.

Kangana Ranaut's Twitter account was recently suspended indefinitely after she made a series of controversial tweets. Later, she reportedly took to Instagram and shared some controversial stories on her website. Her posts showed anti-communal outrage in response to the violent political violence in Bengal. Many people objected to it and reported her account.

In a series of tweets just before her Twitter account was suspended, the actress made remarks on alleged violence in West Bengal after election results were announced recently, which led to her account being suspended because it violated the microblogging site's rules.

Her account was suspended shortly after she posted a video of herself crying while thinking about atrocities in Bengal. The video, however, has gone viral on Twitter and is being shared by her fans.

The actress has been a vocal supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a long time.

Since contracting Coronavirus, she is reportedly in self-isolation.
