Its A Girl: Jos Buttler And Wife Louise Become Parents For The Second Time

On Sunday, Jos Buttler, a veteran England wicketkeeper-batsman, and his wife Louise welcomed their second child (September 5). Maggie, the couple's second child, has been born to them. Notably, the dasher had pulled out of England's five-match Test series against India in the middle of the series. While Buttler played in the first three Test matches, he opted out of the final two.

Margot is Buttler's second child. Th hHe famous cricketer became a father for the first time in April 2019 when he welcomed his first daughter Georgia Rose. Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Royals' official Instagram page published a few of cute photos of the Buttler family. Jos may be seen posing with his newborn family member in one photo. The other image was a selfie taken by the entire family.

Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise addressed the new baby as Maggie in their post. 5th Sept: “Jos Baby is here! Welcome to the #RoyalsFamily, Maggie,” they wrote. Unsurprisingly, congratulations messages came in from all across the world, flooding the comment section in no time.

Meanwhile, Buttler will be out for some time. Along with the remaining two Test matches, the wicketkeeper has also withdrawn from the IPL 2021 second leg. As a result, he'll play in the high-octane T20 World Cup. Notably, in the first three Tests against India, the veteran was far from his best. As a result, it will be fascinating to observe how he performs in the worldwide tournament.

England and India have been neck-and-neck in the Test series so far. While the first game resulted in a tie, India dominated the second at Lord's with a remarkable 151-run victory.
