After being heartbroken due to the defeat in 2016 RioOlympics, the Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu has now created history byfinally opening the Indian Medal Tally and has brought the silver medal underthe 49 kg category. The country is really happy with this victory. She hasbecome a role model for many girls in the country.

Earlier, Mirabai Chanu had also shown her gratitude to everyoneelse who had supported and showed faith in her. She is really rejoiced to meether family after 2 years and says that it is beyond words to describe those 2years. She also thanked her parents for the sacrifices that they had made forher, so that she could reach the position at which she is at present.
