Jalandhar Commissionerate Police solves double murder case within two hours

Arrest the main accused, raids on for nabbing the other accused

Exhibiting remarkable professionalism and dedication towards duty, the Jalandhar Commissionerate Police today solved a double murder case within two hours of the crime with the arrest of the main accused.

Divulging the details the Commissioner of Police Jalandhar Mr Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the a police has information that a double murder has taken place in Greater Kailash colony in which Ram Saroop and Komal have been murdered. He said that swinging into a SIT comprising of CIA staff, SPU and Police Division number 1 was constituted. Mr Bhullar said that during the investigation it came into light that both the deceased were in seen with Raja and Aakash residents of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh respectively.

The Commissioner of Police further said that Raja and Aakash were present in the house on Monday evening when both the deceased were preparing dinner and they had murdered them with hammer.  He said that Ram Sarup was maternal uncle (mama) of Raja, who was having old grudge with him. The Commissioner of Police said that Raja’s father Bachu Yadav had committed suicide few time back.

Similarly he said that his younger brother had also died due to which Raja wanted to take revenge of both the deaths. The Commissioner of a police said that Raja murdered his uncle due to this reason with the help of Aakash, who was absconding. Mr Bhullar said that the Police had registered a case under section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and arrested the accused Raja whereas raids are being done to arrest his accomplice Aakash.
