Jalandhar travel agent firing; five crore ransom demanded by gangster Kaushal Choudhary

Gunshots were fired off near the Shaheed Bhagat Singh I.S.B.T in Jalandhar. The assailants reportedly fired at the car belonging to a travel agent in the parking lot in front of the bus stand. A note was found in the car. The contents of the note revealed a ransom demand of 5 crores from the notorious gangster Kaushal Choudhary.  

The assailants reportedly fired nearly six to seven shots at a white MG Hector and left a note in the car with a name and a number written on it. The note has been identified as a ransom note from Kaushal Choudhary. Police have seized the car and conferred with the owner at the police station.

The Travel Agent Inderjit informs the police that he had parked in the parking lot in front of his office. Then he heard the shots a short while later. Fortunately, no one was in or around the car when the unknown assailants opened fire.

The police arrived promptly after being alerted about the firing and recovered two bullet shells from the car. New Baradari SHO Balwinder Singh informs that the unknown assailants fired five shots. He also informs about the note with a name and a phone number written on it found in the car. The assailants fled the scene after firing the shots and placing the note.
