A report has found that about 3.1 million positions are vacant in this field, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. This report, “The Humans of  Cybersecurity” that the recent trend was in Corona virus-themed cyber attacks.

The report corroborated the idea that cyber crime skyrocketed during the pandemic.

The field is facing an acute shortage of personnel and the companies around the world are staring at a lack of policies, procedures, and practices to ensure cyber safety.

And, finally in further good news, the industry in Asia Pacific is expected to register a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18.3% for the period of 2020-2025, and we are coming from a valuation of $30.45 billion in 2019.
