Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut on Wednesday took a dig at the Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau after he called PM Modi for COVID19 vaccines. Canadian PM on Wednesday called his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi seeking covid-19 vaccine supplies and lauded India’s role as the pharmacy of the world.

A readout of the conversation from Modi’s office later said: "Prime Minister Trudeau informed Prime Minister Modi about Canada's requirements of COVID-19 vaccines from India. Prime Minister assured the Canadian PM that India would do its best to support Canada's vaccination efforts, just as it had done for many other countries already."

Even PM Modi took to Twitter and wrote, "Was happy to receive a call from my friend @JustinTrudeau. Assured him that India would do its best to facilitate supplies of COVID vaccines sought by Canada. We also agreed to continue collaborating on other important issues like Climate Change and the global economic recovery."

As per reports, PM Trudeau said to PM Modi, "If the world managed to conquer COVID-19, it would be significantly because of India's tremendous pharmaceutical capacity, and Prime Minister Modi's leadership in sharing this capacity with the world."

Following this Bollywood actress, Kangana Ranaut took a jibe at Canadian PM in her own style. Kangana wrote, "Who all remember that 90’s song used to come on chitrahaar when I was very small. I danced on it for relatives. आसमाँ को धरती पे लाने वाला चाहिए, झुकती है दुनिया झुकाने वाला चाहिए... तुना तुना तक तक तुना... (Sky can be brought to the earth, the world can bow if one knows how to make them)

Kangana's jibe came in the context after Canadian PM expressed his views on the ongoing farmer's protest.  Trudeau had said that Canada will always be there to defend the rights of peaceful protests, and expressed concern over the situation. On this India had sharply replied that such comments pertaining to the "internal affairs of India are unwarranted, unacceptable and would damage India-Canada bilateral relations."
