It is that time of the year when people from all walks of life are honoured with the prestigious Padmashri Award, the highest civilian award of the country for their path-breaking contribution to society. Actress Kangana Ranaut, Producer Karan Johar, Ekta Kapoor, singer Adnan Sami were amongst the awardees from the entertainment industry. 

We are all aware of Kangana’s love for sarees and how she never disappoints us with the style she dons. For the function, the actress picked a saree from her trusted and most favourite designer Sabyasachi Mukerjee and styled her hair in the middle parting two buns. 

Ms Ranaut looked an absolute stunner in the golden and beige saree. 

After receiving the award, teh actress took to her Instagram account and uploaded a video thanking people and expressed her acknowledgement for getting the award. 


“Humbled for this great honour…Padmashri Heartfelt gratitude for my Guru and parents,” read her caption. 

Meanwhile, the designer shared photos of the actress wearing his intricately-crafted drape in which she looked beautiful.



  



Her saree is from the shelves of Sabyasachi, gold and beige coloured saree, designed with detailed golden embroidered patti borders and the entire saree decorated with floral designs with tiny mirror works and zari embroidery. She went for a dark brown half sleeved blouse, backless detail, and round neckline. 
 
For accessories, Kangana kept it simple by wearing huge dangling earrings and a small bindi, that highlighted the saree.
 
She completed her gorgeous look by going with a centre-parted two sleek braided buns and rounded it up with a glossy nude lip shade, minimal makeup with mascara, blushed skin and filled in eyebrows. Thus, making an awestruck fashion statement. 



The actress also shared a photo of her receiving the award from President Ram Nath Kovind while dressed in the saree from Sabyasachi on her Instagram page and celebrated the proud moment by penning down her feelings.
