In the first 45 minutes postal ballot paper counting will take place and then ECM counting will start all over India. As per latest elections update in Ludhiana Indian National Congress President Amrinder Singh Raja Warring is leading the race with 19327 votes. Second on number is BJP’s Ravneet Singh Bittu with 17223 votes. Next in line is Ashok Prashar Pappi from AAP with 10703 votes. Ranjit Singh Dhillon from SAD is at 4th place with 6335 votes. Last is Davinder Singh Ramgarhia from BSP with 802 votes.

The major candidates that contested from Ludhiana’s Lok Sabha seat were Congress President Amrinder Singh Raja Warring. Ashok Prashar was chosen to represent AAP from Ludhiana. Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) chose Ravneet Bittu for the LS Polls as he is a popular face in Ludhiana. The major fight for the seat is between Congress and AAP i.e. Amrinder Singh Raja Warring and Ashok Parashar Pappi. This year Ludhiana saw a total voting percentage of 57.18% which is less than the last assembly elections. In 2019, Ludhiana saw a total of 62.16% of voters’ turnout.
