Marvel’s ‘Falcon’ Anthony Mackie to lead Captain America 4

In the last episode of the Disney Plus TV series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson donned Captain America's mantle and shield.

According to latest news, Anthony Mackie has signed a deal to play the next Captain America in a fourth Marvel Studios film. In the last episode of the Disney Plus TV series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, the actor's Sam Wilson acquired Cap's mantle and shield.

At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Steve Rogers, the original Captain America, stepped down as the Avengers' captain. He had also given Sam his shield, thereby designating him his successor.


It's unclear whether Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes or the Winter Soldier will appear in Captain America 4. In The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, he and Wilson linked up to take on the anarchist group Flag-Smashers. John Walker, a distinguished soldier, was temporarily Captain America, but he was demoted for murdering one of the Flag-Smashers in cold blood.

In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Mackie played Falcon for the first time. He was a post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) veteran who led a self-help group for troops. He joined forces with Captain America to take down Hydra, who had not only survived but had infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D.(Strategic Hazard Intervention Espionage Logistics Directorate) .

In Captain America: Civil War, he allied with Steve Rogers against Iron Man and his allies for the second time. He became a fugitive after the events of the film and joined the battle against Thanos.
