Mica Miller's death took a controversial turn when John-Paul Miller during a service announced his wife's death asking his congregation not to discuss it inside the church. John-Paul Miller is a pastor at Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, SC. On Mica Miller's alleged suicide, John-Paul Miller said, "I got a call late last night, my wife has passed away. It was self-induced and it was up in North Carolina." A US media portal reported that John did not disclose that Mica Miller had filed for divorce a few months back. And, just 48 hours before her death, John was served with papers. It is said that Mica had also filed for a 'no contact order' against John. As per Newsnationnow, the medical examiner investigating the death of a South Carolina pastor’s wife found Mica Miller died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Mica Miller's autopsy report confirmed John Paul's statement. South Carolina Pastor's wife Mica from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, was found dead on April 27 with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head at Lumber State Park in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Mica Miller's death controversy has intensified after her family and friends reportedly claim the details surrounding her death are puzzling and don’t make sense. Additionally, they said she was “a woman planning to live,” as she was trying to build a new life away from her husband John-Paul Miller.  On the other hand, John was quoted by the Christian Post that his wife, whom he married in 2017, suffered from mental illnesses.

 

Who was Mica Miller?

 

Mica Miller, 30, reportedly hailed from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Mica Miller's obituary has sparked a massive uproar on social media with netizens smelling something fishy. As per an obituary for Mica Acacia Miller of Myrtle Beach quoted by US portal, the 30-year-old passed away last Saturday (April 27, 2024) in Lumberton, N.C. No cause or manner of death was referenced in the obituary. Mica Miller, originally of Wichita, Kansas, was married to John-Paul Miller. Investigators with the Robeson County sheriff’s office are leading the investigation into Mica Miller’s death.

 

As per a US media report, Mica Miller met South Carolina Pastor John Paul when she was about 14 or 15 while he was 28 or 29. However, the two were separated and their case was going through the legal system. NYP reported that before dying, Mica stated that if she was ever found dead, her husband was behind it. Mica's statement accusing er husband was quoted in an affidavit filed by her younger sister Sierra Francis in Horry County Probate Court.
