While Team India is all set to face the mighty Australians in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Test series, Mohammed Siraj and speed sensation Umran Malik came under the scanner of a particular section of social media. Mohammed Siraj and Umran Malik are currently facing the heat after a video of Team India getting a warm welcome inside a hotel went viral. Mohammed Siraj Umran Malik Tilak video has been breaking the internet, however, fans are divided in their opinion. Umran Malik-Mohammed Siraj Tilak video shows, Team India is checking into a hotel and both the speedsters can be seen requesting the hotel staff to not put the Tilak on their forehead.

Notably, the act has gone viral on the internet as fans feel they should not have done that. Tilak is a part of hindu tradition in India and is applied to welcome the guests. Siraj and Umran seem to the be only two cricketers being targetted by the online fans despite the fact that even batting coach Vikram Rathour and one of the support staff members have also refused to apply the tilak on them. One of the user wrote in comment section, "Vikram Rathour, Dayanand Garani among many others also did." It is pertinent to mention here that Mohammed Siraj-Umran Malik Tilak video seems to be old as Umran is not part of Team India for the upcoming 4 Test match series vs Australia. However, Umran was in Team India during the limited over series against New Zealand. Therefore, it can be said that the video might be from India vs New Zealand series

How fans reacted?

A user wrote, "Why should they, if I may ask? The Hindus and Jains use tilaks as part of their cultural tradition. The individuals you named belong to a different faith altogether. Don't try to build a mountain out of a molehill and incite hatred...And moreover, the hashtags you used are so juvenile and don't make any sense whatsoever. Grow up for anyone's sake. Both Siraj and Umran are out-and-out Indians and Pakistan going bankrupt has got nothing to do with them."

"Many ignored the tilak and you are only highlighting Umran and Siraj," wrote another user.

Another user wrote, "Why make an issue out of it , even players like Amla, Moeen Ali they don't allow beer alcohol logo on their jersey . We should respect that if Umran and Siraj don't want to wear Tilak."
