Days after targeting his own government and Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh for delay in justice in the Kotkapura Firing Case, Former Minister and Senior Congress Leader Navjot Singh Sidhu today questioned Punjab DGP Dinkar Gupta for inaction against Bikram Majithia for his alleged involvement in the multi-crore drug racket case. .

Taking to Twitter, Navjot Sidhu while sharing a video clip of the interview of Punjab DGP to a private channel asked “What have you done about Majithia and what about those who gave political facilitation & protection to set-up Chemical Drug Factory in Punjab?”

Sidhu in the tweet wrote, “To DGP ... What have you done about Majithia ? About those who gave political facilitation & protection to set-up Chemical Drug Factory in Punjab ? What is action taken on Big fish mentioned in STF report sent by Hon High Court to Govt ? Thus today he threatens to put cases on us”.

It is pertinent to mention here that eradicating drugs and taking action against all those involved in big drug rackets was the top poll promise of the Captain Amarinder-led-Congress government. Besides, the party in the past had faced criticism for having failed to take action against Akali leaders over their alleged involvement.
