Newlyappointed PCC Chief Navjot Singh Sidhu is expected to formally take over reinsof the state unit at a function to be held at Chandigarh on Friday.
Unconfirmedreports suggest that Party General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is likely toattend the coronation. Sources said that senior leaders are expected to attendthe event though a formal list is being drawn out. With differences between himand Capt Amarinder Singh continuing to persist, it remains to be seen whetherthe Chief Minister attends the event.
Sourcessaid that the party high command was trying for a patch up between the two sothat the campaign for the 2022 assembly elections would not be impacted.
