SSR Drugs Case: NCB sends 85 gadgets of actors and 25 drug samples to Gujarat Forensic Experts

The gadgets have been sent to the Directorate of Forensic Sciences (DFS) in Gandhinagar.

Massive development has come into the limelight in the drugs case that emerged in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. Going by the reports of Mumbai Mirror, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has sent 85 gadgets of Bollywood stars and their associates in the past 45 days. The gadgets have been sent to the Directorate of Forensic Sciences (DFS) in Gandhinagar. 

These gadgets include mobile phones of celebrities like Deepika, Shraddha, Sara, Rhea Chakraborty, and Arjun Rampal among others. Report of the news agency state that the data extracted by DFS Gujarat from 30 of these cell phones have been handed over to NCB, on the basis of which the agency has been conducting raids and making arrests in Mumbai.

The agency has also begun sending the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) the samples of drugs seized from raids in Mumbai, asking it to ascertain their quality so they can zero-in on the supplier network and track down the buyers. So far around 25 samples have been sent across. The NCB has also requested DFS Gandhinagar to establish a link of forwarded messages and calls to establish the chain of drug users.

Earlier the NCB has sent the viral video of Karan Johar's party which was alleged that drugs had been used in the party, however, reports suggest that the DFS Gandhinagar after probing gave a clean chit to Karan Johar.
