New PPCC President Raja Warring reaches Amritsar, meets former MLAs-Councilors; Sidhu absent from the meeting

PPCC President during his visit to Amritsar held a meeting with the former MLAs and Councilors

Following the announcement of the new President of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee, Raja Warring along with his family and party members reached Amritsar today where they paid obeisance at various religious places including Golden Temple, Durgiana Temple. Raja Warring reached Amritsar this morning. 

He was accompanied by his family, party-acting president Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Leader of Opposition Partap Singh Bajwa and Deputy Leader Raj Kumar Chabewal. 

Raja Warring reached Golden Temple at around 4.30 am. Served Palki Sahib. After paying homage to the Golden Temple, the new Congress brigade also visited the Durgiana Temple. Here he was honored by the Durgiana Temple Committee. After this Raja Warring, Partap Singh Bajwa, Bharat Bhushan Raju and Raj Kumar Chabewal also visited Sri Ram Tirath and received blessings.

 During this, he held a meeting with the former MLAs and the councilors. It is to be mentioned that Former PPCC President Navjot Singh Sidhu was absent from the meeting. He talked about organizing the Congress in this meeting. 

Regarding Sidhu’s absence, he said that Sidhu was not in the city, due to which he could not attend the meeting. He also mentioned that the Party has faced a great loss due to factions. We will return to power once these things are fixed. The things should be kept within the Congress family and not publicized.
