POCO M3 Pro 5G set to launch in India on June 8, availability confirmed on Flipkart

Flipkart has released a banner of the new phone in the app confirming its availability.

POCO is all set to launch its first 5G phone in India on June 8. The company has confirmed that POCO M3 Pro will be available on Flipkart. The new 5G handset debuted globally last month and will be making an entry in the Indian market next week.

POCO has a couple of other 5G phones but they are yet to arrive on the subcontinent. The new POCO M3 Pro 5G is an upgraded model of the POCO M3 that was launched in India in February 2021. The company claims that the new handset will be the first 5G phone in the company’s India portfolio.

Price Range

Flipkart has released a banner of the new phone in the app confirming its availability. There is no word on the pricing yet but globally POCO M3 Pro 5G is priced at EUR 159 which is roughly Rs. 14,100 for the base 4GB+64GB storage option and EUR 179 which is roughly Rs 15,900 for the 6GB+128GB storage option.

POCO M3 Pro 5G was launched in three color options- Blue, power black and Poco Yellow. It is expected to launch at the same price range and same color option in India as well.


POCO M3 Pro 5G should run on Android 11- based MIUI 12 and feature a 6.5-inch full HD+ hole-punch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset will have a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an 8-megapixel selfie camera on board.

There will be a 5000mAh battery with support for fast charging. It will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor with AI Face Unlock Support. Connectivity options will include dual-SIM slots, 5G, NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and USB Type-C port.
